In 2016, two of the biggest video game franchises, Pokémon and Super Mario Bros., teamed up for an XY-P Promotional set of cards featuring Pikachu dressed up as Mario and Luigi. Both Mario Pikachu and Luigi Pikachu were released in regular and full art cards, and offered here is Mario Pikachu 294! The adorably mustached Mariochu full artwork was done by Kouki Saitou. This card was available in the Mario Pikachu Special Box, which was released on October 29th, 2016 and contained card sleeves, a deck case, a card box, and the 2 Mario Pikachu promo cards.
